Hi everyone I am looking for a good aftermarket drive belt. Are there any other bikes the drive belt is interchangeable with? Also a place to get good used parts. Thanks :)

No such thing.
You can pick up new OEM belts from any dealer or online source.
or used belts from those that have converted to chain.

The Kawasaki belt is close and we have converted the pulleys for use in the savage.
But the belts are longer and not usable in a stock savage.

Only used sources I know of are the Marketplace on this forum, eBay, or your local Craigslist.

I am not sure if RYCA fools around selling any parts that are taken off when they do conversions.

Okay thanks I had a feeling that was the case. I live in Ohio and there aren't any salvage yard close to me that deal in bike parts. So I thought I'd ask. Being on a fixed income bites when your trying to get a project done..lol It will just take a little longer, got all winter to work on her. :)

Where in Ohio? Pinwall Cycle parts is in Massillon, Ohio....and they always have a lot of Savage parts for sale. (330-879-9910)

Pinwall has a lot of listings on eBay for Savage parts - and anything you see online they can also sell you directly from their store.

The guys out here know everything there is to know about the Savage, just ask.

The budget minded might find a good deal on a belt in the marketplace. If you don't see one posted, place a wanted ad. You'll get some responses.

Ryca was selling parts they had pulled off. I don't know how much they had left since they weren't doing many conversions themselves anymore. At least that is what they told me last time I contacted them about parts but it has been a while so it is worth contacting them.
