I believe they eventually will, once it becomes a less controversial event,... but the separation of Church and State should allow them to refuse. This is different than a baker or dressmaker that serves the public as a whole. Churches,.. serve only their members. Of course,... no church today, would exclude based on race as they once did... ... but,... Who knows really... Maybe, looking at it from the historical past perspective of racial discrimination,... maybe they should be forced... But,.. what gay couple would want to, against such animosity?... All in all,... I think the legal rights are one thing,... and the religious another... I have a buddy that had to change his religious affiliation, in order to marry at his wife's church... ...and both were Christian!... I vote,...allow the Churches their bigotry... ;D... |

You can't demand pork from a candle shop either... they don't sell pork... to anyone... The baker does sell cakes... but he don't sell pork either... That's the diff... If a vendor sells a product,... he can't refuse to sell it based on sex, race, or color... this would include same sex... He can refuse service to individuals if they a bad customer... (i.e.,..rude, drunk, belligerent, etc,).. ...but you can't demand a product that a store doesn't sell. PS... My apologies for my previous statement, in which you felt forced to agree...
