Title: Cross-Dressing
Post by MnSpring on 10/31/15 at 17:13:25

 Nope, not even close.
This is about, ‘dressing’ for, ‘cold’.

Had a, Hurly rider, would come to the shop, when ever the roads were clear and dry,
NO MATTER, how Cold it was.

He, did, look the part.  on his M.C.
But, when he came inside, (a Gun Shop),
Off came the, (looks), Leather jacket,
and a, 10 cent cheep, plastic, ‘rain jacket’.
And the FF helmet.

(Never asked him what was, ‘under,’ his pants  LOLOLO)
Just guess it was PH, L.U., Pants, and Chaps.
And upper body,  ’T’’ shirt, Wool shirt, Vest, Sweater,
“the cheep azz, rain coat", and the Big jacket.

Point,  Cross Dress. Think , OUT Side the box.

Warm, to the temp, to your core.
Then, WIND, PROOF it, Then, ‘Looks’.

Point: Think, OUTSIDE, M.C. Cloths,
and think, ‘What will Work’.

Many years ago, got a tip, on, ’Nail Polish’.
Dab a bit of color on the primer, of the load,
then when you test, ‘which’ load works,
(You know by your notes),
The, identifier  is Gone, when you re-load.

First time I went to a K-Matt, (they were still here then)
Bought, Red/Green/Blue/Black/White. Nail Polish
Got the, "LOOK”.
Just bought some more,  Got the, ‘Look’.
I said: It’s Halloween, for the kids.
No more. ‘look’.     (Don’t Have any Kids)

Think, ‘Outside’ the Box!

Then this will really make you wonder... ;D....

Went for a putt today... Temps were in the 60's, so I didn't really need to bundle much.
but, for the sake of science... ;D... I wore my tights... ;D...

1.... they really flatten yer' junk... :o...
2...  they work like compression sports gear.  Legs feel strong, and butt don't sink into the seat... (longer stretches between stops are possible)...
3...  I never felt the wind, or any chill, even at 80+mph...
4...  they really do squish yer' junk... (them boys ain't goin' nowhere)...  :-/...

Also,...  I wore a jacket and scarf....
When I got home,... I loosen the scarf, ... and a marble sized piece of gravel falls out... (musta' been thrown up by a semi on the highway)...
Never saw or felt a thing...
Really glad I wore that scarf... :-?...

Are these "tights" the same thing as "pantyhose"? I've heard of scuba divers wearing this sort of apparel to help keep warm.

MN, I get those same looks when I buy nail polish to paint the sights on my old revolvers (old models with fixed sights in the same blue as the revolvers) orange or bright red for the front, white for the rear
One day maybe I'll bite the bullet and put 'Express sights' on them

After this test,... I believe I will start with long johns in cooler weather,.. and add tights under the long johns in cold weather... (that's under 60f, and under 50f... for me)...

Long johns,.. and tights, might be easier to explain in the ER... God forbid...

On the other hand,... tights with heels... need no explanation.  ;D...

I ride when the temperature drops down into the teens. I only wear one pair of socks and my jeans. Up top is typically a t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, thinsulate jacket and my riding jacket with quilted liner. My gloves are definitely not winter gloves though! The only part of me that ever gets cold is my hands. Even without a scarf (or any other piece of clothing to protect my neck), my neck and face/head stays warm with my FF helmet.

"Do they make "Crotch-less Pantyhose"?

Not sure how you could ask the clerk that question without blushing!

A number of years ago,  I was in TX.
Did, NOT, bring rubber boots, (But it was raining a lot needed them)

That night, I went in to a Wall-Mart,
Went to the Shoe dept.

(’TINGLY’, (in the MidWest), is a  Brand, of, Rubber foot wear, which is waterproof, and designed to slip over your existing foot wear)

I asked the young, female clerk; “Where are your Tingley Rubbers”.
She Blushed,  (((Really  Blushes))).
And said: “Sir, I think you want the Pharmacy Department”.

I thought, than I said: “Can you direct me to your, GOULASHES’.  !  @@@@

Although,.. once again,.. that's something I don't want to bring into the ER...
Jes' sayin'... :-X...

... one more thing... about pantyhose... :-?...
I couldn't tell the front from the back...
So I just randomized ....

A large pistol carrier, unzipped, and placed wooly side against the chest, just inside the insulated coveralls, shuts off the wind the zipper lets through. Really helps with upper body warmth.

Won't yer' pistol get chilly?... :-?...
