That's pretty ingenious and all but what's the point? You'd have to build a robot that's sentient so "he"can walk into a dealership, buy one and ride it home. Otherwise, it's just a machine "riding" a machine. Really it's just one machine being controlled by a human.

Advancements in fields like this can help with human mobility. Think people with injuries and disabilities.

I think it's great. Imagine if All the riders were identically skilled.
Then the race is a comparison of equipment.
Then hand riders (equipped with a pulse ) The same bikes, as evenly tuned as possible.
And, have races like this. With factories spending fortunes to create the best machine they can. And the crash that was avoidable, WAS,avoidable. But that's racing.
