Title: Super sweet modified Savage LS650. Anyone know it?
Post by Brodizzle83 on 09/17/15 at 14:26:20

I came across a really cool-looking modified Savage on Google images today and I cannot find a single thing about it, nor anymore pictures than this tiny one. Does anyone know anything about it? This is the kind of look I want to do when building my (future) '95 Savage LS650. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated!

The name on the tank gave it away. This particular bike was built by a german shop called "Bad bikes" here's the link and specs.

Quote:
Suzuki LS 650 Savage (single cylinder)
Handlebar modification for 22mm handlebars.
Suzuki Bandit control switches.
Front fork SC28 Double Disc (Guessing SC28 designates a CBR900RR)
SC28 front wheel 3.5 x 16, 130/70/16 tire.
SC28 rear wheel 5.5x17, 180/55/17 tire.
Conversion to chain drive.
Rear brake disc with Kawasaki Caliper.
High Shorty seat.
Mask Thug headlight.
Exhaust IXIL X-Treme.
Everything Matt black powder or lacquered.

So a fairly stock engine with some bits thrown at it, getting the rear to mate up would probably be the most challenging. Does't look that hard, they even made a second one  ::) http://bad-bikes.de/galerie/displayimage.php?album=190&pid=2412#top_display_media

I think this Savage is the best project that I've seen... although my opinion is certainly not a dogma. i've get some idea to do something similar, but i not sure- have i enough time and effort ....

That is a pretty nice bike.....but I sure wouldn't run a bike without an air cleaner and a functional muffler.  And I kinda like having fenders, as I rode one summer without one and the front tire throws all kinds of stuff in the air that you then get to catch with your face!
