I am wondering if anyone knows of wheels with 3-8 spokes that will work on these bikes? I want to build a sportier bike and do not wish to have the traditional wire spoke wheels.

Some have done it. Try the search button for cast wheels. Set your default search parameters for longer than a week. ;)

When I bought my bike , the front wheel came from a Cagiva Mito.
Shortly after I reinstalled the original one, because here the law prevents you from installing unapproved parts or not shown on the registration document.
For example, the diameter of the wheels or tire size...

I believe Jog is showing us that unlike Italy.....in the US you can change wheels and tires to whatever size you want.

And not just wheels and tires, but the whole suspension. Make it air bags or hydraulic,
Jack a truck up so high you need a ladder.

Honda CBX 550 with the inboard disc brake.

Efficiency of a disc brakem, looks like a vintage drum. I like it :)

Are you saying that you know the CBX wheels to fit or just that they'd be cool? :)

Check tire and rim sizes... ;)

Anyway, you'd need to swap the front fork as well, triple trees and adapt the handlebars.
