Alright folks,
The bike was going to be parked for a little bit for some maintenance (oil change, carb jets, and air box mods). I think it was unhappy with this news, as it decided to rattle off the right side plate over the air box, and left an oil trail from under the left side case.

Any common threat areas under he left side, front?

A common one is if the bolts that hold the foot peg mounts are loose, the oil can leak from the case and follow the bolt to the left side and drop to the floor.

Dave,
You were spot on. both foot peg bolts were loose.
Oil leak solved, oil changed.

Ready to get back on the road...

Yee haaa,, was at the dollar store,grabbed a new pack of stars. Red, blue, silver and gold.
