I twisted my forks in the triple tree on a Guzzi, just dropping it.
Bent is bent. Yes, common event, but, to the untrained eye, twisted Looks bent,
Of course, if the bike ran into something or run over, and they're Beyunt, (  pronounced be yunt, )then, yep, need parts. Study the frame, look for cracked paint in the downtube coming from the steering head,
That indicates bent frame. Check it out close, are the handle bars bent?
How's the tank? Signals, mirrors,
Post pics?

Marco,

If you need forks go to The Market Place and start a new post:

"Wanted To Buy S40 Forks" you will get a better deal from one of the members parting out a bike than you will on eBay.

I live in queens ny I looked at the frame for about half hour I did not see any damage to it but I will look again when he gets back from vacation in three days the damage seems to be below the triple tree as it did not get damaged or the headlight the damage seems to be the rim and forks

How much do you want for them

Take a look at the web site posted.
The more things you want, the better the price.

+ Postage.   Shipping cost for big things, can be nuts.
BUT, a Frame, shipped to NY, was 170 Fed-X, 160, UPS, and 60.00 Greyhound Bus.

You near a Greyhound Bus Depot ?

Get your posts up to 10, then PM me.

Sizewise......I would take the caps off the forks, pull out the springs and spacers and push the fork tubes down for shipping in a shorter box if size matters!  (Some shipping methods may not care about the length).

if size matters?
Really, Dave? I mean, everybody SAYS size doesnt matter, but that's just being nice to , well, it's just being nice...
EVERYBODY knows size matters,
I'm headed out to the shop, gonna scrape two stars off tge scoreboard Dave,
TWO STARS, coming off, right now.
Before I invested labor in tearing them down, I'd call shippers and ask what ,if any, dimensions make, or, if it's just weight.

I can build a box, given a bigger than I need box to start with. And, at fell length, you're gonna need a pretty big starting spot. An BIG office chair box,
Might be long enough. A packing tapegun, razor knife. If you have a metal yardstick you can make a crease in the cardboard running down the circulation, so it folds and makes clean corners. If you have a Pack  And Mail
, they'll have bubble wrap. I like rags around chrome, then bubble wrap.
If they're packed both right side up, on end is heavy and the sliders are on the same end. At full extension, I'd rather handle that.
Or, maybe ship two boxes.. make it a bit more money, but lots easier on the handlers. Less likely they would hate on it.o

LLOLOLOL
 “Size does not Matter”
Is that a, P.C. ‘Correct’, phrase ?   ;D ;D ;D

Yes, length of a package, ‘for shipping’,  does matter.
and Dave, good idea, to take out the Spring & Spacer,
to make the package shorter.  ;)
