Title: toolkit
Post by linwiz on 08/26/15 at 18:20:38

I have found http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?board=tech;action=display;num=1108327792 that post, but I can't get the photo to load. I do not think I have a complete toolkit, but I don't know what some of those tools look like. Could anyone post a picture of their toolkit?

Unless you have brought the bike new, or under a warranty, the stock tool kit is considered next to useless by many on this forum, this applies to the pliers and belt tensioner gauge. The screw driver is ok for light work, the open end spanners tolerable for light work. The kit is something for those who prefer absolute stock originality. Not for those doing medium to serious maintenence

I have my own set of decent tools, but that wont help me much if I'm not at the house. I only intend on using such tools if I become stranded somewhere. It may be worth my while to replace the stock tools with something better, but I wouldn't know what to pack.

I thought the spark plug tool was worth having.. And I used the rear axle tools
but I had better of everything else. And the belt tensioner gauge is not okay, use that and the belt squeaks for sure.
If you check pictures, some have a tool pouch hanging different places.
