Found this on cl on Saturday it's an 05. Not my first bike more like the 16th lol. Bought a lot of bikes in five years. I have to say this is my 2nd favorite. The kz550ltd will forever be in my heart. But I do enjoy this bike registered it yesterday. Runs and drives very well. Only down side is previous owners messed up mileage on title by adding 10ths. So my 18xxx bike says 180xxx on title. Other than that I'm happy. Don't worry I ride with a helmet bike is off in pic for picture. Can't wait to but saddle bags as it came with the brackets. Look forward to seeing everything on here thank you for a great forum.

18,000 miles is well past time to look at the cam chain tensioner. That thing let's go and you're a pedestrian..

If your in the Eastern part of the country ... You should know we have a ride in the works for Labor Day. We might find ya somewhere to stay-over if its a two day trip to the Tail-of-the Dragon area. 8-)

18,000 miles is where the "Cam-Chain" mod. comes in handy. Could be the person you bought it from heard the Chain getting loose and didn't know what an easy fix it is ? Check out the thing we call "The Versey"
