I took a big dive last Monday. I found an awesome bike at a deal too good to pass up. Now I have something more comfortable on which the wife and I can ride longer. Meet my sweet potato, an '08 Yamaha FJR1300:

What do you guys think? I'm not getting rid of the savage. I still enjoy it, and the spouse might start riding on it.

Sweet! That is a nice ride, and if my eyes don't deceive me it has a real handlebar you can actually change if the ergos aren't just right for you
Yamahas seem to be good motos, especially the bigger 'flagship' models

They better get along! Art Webb, I actually had the previous owner adjust the handlebars the day I bought it. They were originally too far forward, and it wasn't very comfortable. Bringing them back to me put me at just the right position.

Cruise control, electric windshield, adjustable suspension, 6.6 gallon tank... This thing us going to spoil me! Hopefully I'll get some more pics next weekend when I take her out again.

Yeah I almost bought one of those for mine, still plan on getting one sooner or later

This one has a Throttlemeister installed on the bar ends. Definitely gets the job done!

I had one of those for my Ninja500, never did get it installed lol
