Awesome! I've had 2 occasions in the last year where random strangers helped me out.

I enjoyed that video.  I had a cousin who stopped so frequently to help animals and people that he had to put yellow flashing lights on the roof of his car to avoid being hit along the highways.

The very first one, the guy helping the lady in the electric scooter, was from a guy on the WR250X forum I used to hang on when I had my black one.
We posted a few vids, helping folks.... I had one posted where I helped two guys load an old bike into the back of a pickup.

awesome.  The best part about most of them (although you don't see the end of many of the clips) is that they perform their service and disappear into the wind...

That is a nice, feel good video.  ::)

But shouldn't we all be doing that all the time? Maybe I'm just simple, but if people treated others like they would like to be treated, well.

I've gotten turtles off the road, got goats and sheep untangled from fences, put gas in Harleys, stayed with people until help arrived, traffic control at accidents, etc.
I usually ride alone, and I am in no rush to get anywhere, so .. why not?
I have never needed help, but I am grateful for people who have stopped and asked if I did.
We are "bikers".  For most of us, doing stuff like that is a part of riding.

+1, I've done a few of those things myself. it's a good feeling when you help out a person or an animal in distress, almost as good as when someone helps you out when you're in distress

Best people on the road in my opinion...and I'm not biased!  :D

Seriously, motorcyclists (not bikers) are the friendliest, most helpful people on the road.

I put it in quotes because that is what most people see when they see someone on a motorcycle, especially a cruiser.  They see a "biker", and the baggage that comes with that tag.
I don't care what people call me.  Biker, Motorcyclist, Rider.. doesn't matter.

To me, riding and helping have this in common.  If I have to explain to someone why I do it, then they wouldn't understand anyway.  :)

Youzguyz:
I couldn't agree more. The term "biker" seems to have negative connotations. We're not all 1%ers. "Motorcyclist" seems to be friendlier.

Call me what you will. I'm still the same guy.
