Title: Brake Pin Post by Coaxial on 07/08/15 at 18:40:27 Hey, I am trying to change out the pads as I usually do and this time around it seems that the brake pin(#10 in diagrams) holding the pads in is stuck. In an attempt to loosen, I am afraid i stripped the head a bit. An Allen wrench can still grip it somewhat but I dont think enough to get it loose. Ive sprayed it with some lubricant and hopefully it helps but does anyone here have any ideas? Thanks |

He did try and tighten and then loosen but no go, Tried extracting but the metal was too soft.. we didnt have any more tools for that. The head is ruined. Now I must find a new caliper as he also discovered that the dealership that last put on my brakes over torqued one of the bolts and the threads are messed. |
