Title: Brake Bulb Post by Drey on 07/07/15 at 11:26:36 Hey guys, I have two questions. The first is really really simple but I'm at work and have none of my manuals to help here and need my partner to pick up a part. Some jerk stole the rear brake light bulb from my bike last night. I found a suzuki part number but that doesn't seem super helpful at Napa or Autozone. Does anyone know what bulb I need? Local shops only seem to have replacement bulbs that don't match the wattage on the OEM parts and they're $20... Second, anyway tips on preventing this? I suppose I should just keep spares as I have to park on the street. Thanks for your help! |

They took the time to unscrew it and put it back on... just didn't tighten the screws down. So it was a $3 fix but super annoying as I use the bike to commute so it ruined my morning. |

(It raises the chance of them getting caught) Unless it was a bike owner, they would have no way of knowing if your bulb would work in their vehicle, most folks don't know they interchange I still suspect a personal thing, prank or maybe someone who thinks you slighted them in some way It doesn't have to be a friend to be a prank, and you don't actually have to slight someone in order for them to think you did Doesn't matter now, done is done, hopefully won't happen again |

In addition to the places mentioned above, you can usually get 2 pack of 1157's at the 99¢ store. I'm glad they didn't do anything worse to your bike...Let's hope this is an isolated incident. |
