Title: Brake Light cable snapped
Post by ryanwilliam on 07/04/15 at 16:37:17

Hi all,
Hoping for a simple solution to this problem.
The brake LIGHT cable broke on my 87.  Not the brake cable, just the cable running from the rear brake to the plunger that activates the brake light.  It is a steel thread cable inside a plastic sheathing.  I cannot find a replacment part for this anywhere.  Is there a way for me to pull off the ends of the wire and get a new length of wire or find a replacment wire/cable?  I can't identify the part on bike bandit.

what a screwed up place to list the cable for the rear brake
I recall having to go there for the throttle cable, which I thought should have been in hand controls
