Title: Just not right
Post by stinger on 06/30/15 at 13:24:19

I saw something today that no man should ever have to see. My faith in humanity has taken a downturn. Today I stopped in a tavern for a cold drink to escape the heat. There set this guy pouring tomato juice in his beer and dipping his popcorn into a small bowl of ketchup. Then washing it down with his beer. This is why we need capitol punishment

while I would never partake in such atrocities... some people like clamato premixed into the beer.

Headache in a can (Budweiser) is an appropriate beer to try it with
Good beer doesn't need help  ;D

The first time I saw a can of Bud Clamato I got goose bumps, a strange shiver ran up my back and the hair stood up on the back of my neck. Yikes, maybe for a hangover but it just ain't right

Budweiser, the Brylcreme of beer. A little dab will do ya. One is enough for a headache.

I like beer cold in the summer, room temperature spring and autumn, and one minute and fifty seconds in the microwave oven in winter, I don't use super heat or boost when microwaving. As I drink dark beer, I don't think tomato products would help.

I remember as a young airman stationed at Holloman Air Force Base New Mexico a local bar used to give you a small can of "Texas Pete" with your draft beer.
It was a tomato juice with spice in it, kinda like a spicy V8 juice, I kinda liked it for awhile, but stopped drinkin' it after I left the area.

I had to Google to learn what clamato is . Jeez you guys have some bad food: clamato juice, aerosol cheese, deep fried butter. Ill stick with vegemite, Bundy and tofu... :P

What's the difference between Vegemite and Marmite? That over proof Bundy's a bit lethal. Doesn't Tofu come from Tonga or Samoa/Pago Pago or somewhere?

Tofu comes from soybeans, which are an amazingly good food in their natural form, but tend to have some unfortunate hormonal side effects when processed
I would imagine crappy food is available in most countries, that doesn't mean you have to eat it
I will say I am jealous of countries where the cattle and poultry are required to be raise humanely and in some semblance of how nature intended
factory farmed meat isn't the healthiest option

I know nothing about Marmite, but an Aussie gymnast at college had a supply of  vegamite shipped in regularly. If you wanted to repaint something, all you needed to do was put him in a room with it. His farts would peel the paint off for you.
