Great out of the box thinking - Rossi makes his own lanes.

He stood it up, and rode it.. it was that or be trying to turn in the sand.
Very cool head, probably less thinking than just reflex.

When he was back on the pavement......he gave the other rider a well deserved "Look"!  >:(

Rossi knew it was coming or could come, he slammed the door shut, this is racing.

You can't pass while off the track, hence martin couldn't cut inside the line and avoid rossi and take the lead.

Being in the lead and knocked off course, rossi can legally cut the course.
That look back, while in disgust also was an assessment... "did I gain too much time?"

I think he goosed it and got the nose up before the soft stuff.
The other guy did a good job stayin up, too.
Hard to guess what was in Rossis mind as he glanced back.
He mayhave just been looking to see how much he gained, or, did the other guy crash..or,
See what happens when ya don't respect ?
Maybe he looked back and thought
Gutsy move.

Sorry.....Got it confused with my daily drive to work.

Where the "look" would have also included a hand gesture!

Thanks for tossing the rule out there. I was wondering how that worked.
I guess, really, he didnt pass the guy. His tire never got even.
