Looks like a great start....and also like you will be making regular fuel stops!

Is that a "living room" project?

It otta be light , if you jack the motor, get the exhaust breathing a little, it's gonna be right quick.
Unless you're a big guy , you could see under six seconds to sixty.
I'm a supporter of fork brace s, the T-kat would look good on that style of build. Superbrace is a bit too refined looking. And costs more.
I had a Stage One cam, jetted the cab, Supertrapp with 14disks, but I'd try a Dyna if I had to do it over.
I'm Thinking,no dyno ,no proof, but I THINK the OEM airbox would smooth out the intake pulses and result in better performance. People spend time on exhaust, and it's gonna be shoved out, by a piston. IF there is no reflected pulse to jump back into the cylinder before the valve shuts, it's a winner. Intake relies on a low pressure zone being filled by atmospheric pressure. When the volume between the filter and carb is equal or larger than the cylinder volume it( according to what little I've found ) makes it easier for the engine to gulp it in.
Imagine an intake that has the right volume to create a pressure wave AT the carb just as the intake valve opens up at the engines torque peak RPM..

Ifi was young and adventurous id probably get some crap together and build a variable volume intake.
