Our officials will tell them now make sure it's safe we don't want anyone getting hurt and then promptly forget about them until it's time for the 'leave us alone' payment...then they'll remember.

Shadow boxing,some lobbyist and some lawyers write a bill that any fool can see the end result of, BIG fake squabbling match, they remove something dreadful and leave the rest of the maggot infested mess and pass it and THEN pretend that they Saved us.
Anyone not blinded by party loyalty could see what NAFTA was gonna do.
The politicians tell us that those were unforeseeable and unintended consequences,,, but no, THOSE were the goals.

IF it's as so many say, NOT a grand design to ruin us, just a series of mistakes, then wouldn't the incoming new people work to repeal or amend it?
IF it's just a series of mistakes made by well meaning people, shouldn't we expect, just by the law of average s, once in a while they make a mistake that DOESN'T screw us?
