Title: Electrical Plug Source
Post by greenmonster on 05/27/15 at 14:06:35

Hi folks,

I recently swapped out my stator and I'm looking at replacing the ancient yellow wires and the plug but I can't seem to find that pin configuration. Any one have any idea where I can find something like that?

Finding a connector that plugs into the other one,, so, what if it's not available?
Buy a connector, both sides, it's okay if it's individual bullet connections,or a multi wire connection with the exact number or maybe even more wires... long as it does the job...
If it's not visible, you're pretty much free to solve the waterproofing problem all kindsa ways.
Heck, show me the rule that says it HAZTA have a plug in connection.
I've hard wired around connectors when it made life easier.

Thanks Vers,

JOG, I've already added/swapped out a number of connections. Quick disconnects are a god send. However, I do like to try to stick with the connection that was there to begin with first! ;D

Sticking with the original design is usually the best answer, but when parts aren't to be had, we have to work around that. I built a seal in the developer section of a copier from a piece of sponge,, there was no way I was gonna be able to find that part, and if I could, they would not have been happy with the copier down..
