Title: Blet / bolt head interference Post by swing69 on 05/22/15 at 09:37:49 on a ryca cs-1, 2006 s40 bike; one small bolt head rubs the belt, just behind and below the drive belt front pulley. That goes into the engine / transmission. This is with the swingarm hanging at full extension. When I rotate the wheel, I can hear a slight rubbing. I'm sure with weight on the wheel, it will miss. but did anyone else find this to be the case? |
Title: Re: Blet / bolt head interference Post by Dave on 05/22/15 at 09:51:54 Yes, I put on a bolt with a flatter allen head drive. It is crappy photo - but it is the only one I have that shows it. The shiny bolt at the bottom of the photo...on the aluminum cover over the shift linkage. http://i40.tinypic.com/nm18i8.jpg |
Title: Re: Blet / bolt head interference Post by swing69 on 05/22/15 at 11:10:37 yupper...that's it. I removed it, ground it rounded the head, leaving just enough to get it out. When I find time, I'll replace it with the allen / button head style you have. |
