Im contemplating bobbing my savage, but how wide of a rear fender should I use? Im running a 140/90 r15 rear tire... would a 5 3/4" fender fit? Or should I go with a 6 inch? Both are the same price.

Yes it can be done, but you gotta give yourself some weasel room.

of course it'll look fine if you can keep everyone a mile away. 8-)

in other words, if one side lines up and the doesn't, you're only 1/8" off but it'll look sh!tty.
