Title: Good evening! I´m an rookie on this site
Post by Pacy on 05/19/15 at 12:29:58

Hello thank som much for adding me to this group.
This is my Bike. Suzuki LS 650 Savage who is born 1996 somewhere in Japan.
I bought the bike last year with only 1100 swedish miles on the clock.
This is my first Cruiser stylish bike and the 24 th bike i owned.Maybe i wanted this bike because the engine. Im a big fan of thumpers least half of the list of 24 bikes i owned has been singelcylinder types of bikes, most of them offroad bikes like "Suzuki Dr 600/Dr 800 Kawasaki Tengai Yamaha xtz 660/Xt 600 okey to mension some of them. This forum seems  to be greate with greate people who actually like their bikes and got so much knowledge /know howe ;) But i´m a bit concerned about the camtensioner, how much the piston is stretched. I can´t hear no suspicious sound from the engine, its sounds good so far.But maybe im gonna check the tensioner at the same time i fix the oil cap plug.
Best regards Pasi

I doubt seriously you will see reason for alarm on the chain, but you will get a clue about when you should start considering the modified tensioner.
If you have a desire to wring a bit more power out, then when it Is time for the chain you'll be in as deep as you need to be to swap out the cam.
Six second zero to sixty can be done without a bigger piston. Just cam, proper intake and exhaust and jetting. I, very much in the minority, believe valve lash set in the tight side of specs, is part of the Wringing Out the best performance it has to offer.
What's the difference between your miles and American miles, aside from the scenery? And any pics of your favorite roads and the accompanying scenery would be most welcome. And by Scenery, well, there could be a rather broad interpretation of that word.
Did I Really use the word Broad in that sentence? Ohh, might that have been a Freudian slip?
