Met her at my wife's nursing home yesterday. It was newsworthy enough at the time (mid '40's)to warrant a newspaper story. Her son is going to bring the clipping and some photos for me to see. She is a strikingly beautiful woman and still has her leathers and her leather helmet.

My MIL , born 1915, was running with a bike club when she was a young single woman. No way could she afford one, but if she had the money,I wouldn't have been shocked to see her buy one.
I'm glad I liked my MIL and she liked me.
