Tore the airbox off the bike as part of my winter work. not sure how to replace it BUT took a K&N RC-1920 off my shadow and in a flash of inspiration, stuck it into the end of the rubber tube attached to the carb. Genius! sits below the seat between the frame tubes, as easy as pie. Now if everything were this simple. 8-) hope to have the bike running on the weekend/end of month.

I'll try and post some pics after I get it back running, but the a/f is simple enough. 8-)

Chimp,

What Honda Shadow do you have? I had a VLX for years and loved the liquid cooled engine during the 110+ degree summer days here in North Texas.

I would like making an air filter change that would simplify working on the carburetor. Not being mechanically inclined I must rely on pictures to make changes.
