I never stopped riding.  All 3 got taken out at least once a week for a few miles or more.

Sometimes it was terribly cold though.

Congrats on the first ride.  That's always a great ride.

Are you rusty or are all your skills sharp?
Can you draw the attention of a distracted or bored or impatient driver?

Done two in MN now.
Careful, because of sand and gravel on the roads.
(No big pouring rain yet)
Of course, on many, 'nice days', it is to windy to haul rocks.
So Just clean the shed or 'pick up sticks'.

Funny thing about down here.... we have Pint Oak, or scrub Oak, not sure what to call them.
But they drop leaves a lot during the spring.... I can't keep up with the two that I have. Already did two weeks worth of 3ea 55gal. trash cans in the back yard (only about 80X35) and looking to do another set...and NOW it is sprouting those annoying seed pod dealys.......sigh....
LOL, I might have to wait till I return from my trip to the sisters, because local forecast has it raining on week.....

Riding season never stops for me.  Just the attire does.   :P

It's nice to live in a temperate climate, but the humidity surely sucks.  Feels like a hot, wet, electric blanket on your face in July.

So, you feel like you're being electrocuted?

You should try North Texas in the middle of August at 2:00 in the afternoon. The hinges of hell have to be cooler than it is here.

I sold my liquid cooled Honda and will regret it this summer.

On the brighter side I can ride the whole 12 months out of the year. Every winter we do get ice or snow a couple of times which stops riding for a week or ten days.
