Title: Re: Hiding wiring Post by Smokestack on 04/06/15 at 11:17:47 A 5" bit of aluminum pipe with TIG welded end caps and the key switch mounted. I've since cleaned up the wiring and done up a new battery tray, so pay no mind to the rat's nest. ;D http://i1086.photobucket.com/albums/j452/Smokestack75/SAM_0392.jpg (http://s1086.photobucket.com/user/Smokestack75/media/SAM_0392.jpg.html) |
Title: Re: Hiding wiring Post by Rylee on 04/06/15 at 11:21:47 Same here. I have the fake oil can and almost everything is inside. I need to finish cleaning up wires and get it all in there. @Smokestack Love the ignition key location I've wondered how it would look gonna have to do that when I pull it apart to clean the rest of the wiring up |
Title: Re: Hiding wiring Post by WD on 04/06/15 at 22:56:59 Fabric wiring conduit. Vintage style engine (pull the chrome head cover trim, adds an instant 50 years to the look), vintage style build, vintage wire loom cover. Neither cheap or easy, but so worth it. Need to find a real coil for the bike so I can run a braided fabric plug wire. The factory wire and coil are unit construction and look like dirty a$$... |

Not suggesting you buy this but half say down the page theres a google docs for installation. Should help if you wanna build your own. http://shop.rycamotors.com/false_oil_can.html |
