This is Sam my 2005 Honda Shadow Aero. 4400 original miles. $4,000.
He rides very nice and is a 750cc..
Black and chrome, very comfy seat. Nice saddlebags and cover as well.

I thought it was quite a good deal. Owner just didn't have time to ride. Can you imagine that?
I can't wait to really get Sam out for a full days riding.
I will post pics and ride reports as they happen.

I stll have Genie so I am still an owner and not a fso..
At least for now... Hugs all from Kim, Genie and Sam

You did good. Shield, bags, low miles, easy money, Honda..
Where's the downside?

Great looking bike, and it has the low seat height and easy to ride features that make us love the Savage so much.

As much as we all love the Savage....there are some really good deals on used road bikes that are more powerful and comfortable.  This is a trend that is likely to continue, as I believe the used bike market is saturated.

Have fun.....and don't sell Genie if you don't have to.  One of us may stop by for a visit and need something to ride!

I dunno how you ride, but the Savage was great for ripping from home to town and quick across town. I'm a hotrodder at heart.. the torque, acceleration, the whole package,, Fun,,, but that's how I like to ride.

Just take your time,

Thanks guys, and for now Genie is still here.
Wow now I have to divide riding time between
2 bikes..  ;)

Justin I like the quickness and torque from the savage as well. I wanted
something I could ride on longer trips and not get so worn out.

I rode this new bike home 50 miles with absolutely no problems on power or handling. In fact I was up to 70mph before I knew it and comfortable as hell...

Dave if you or anyone else ever makes it here, we can always find you a bike to ride..

I asked hubby how we were gonna tell our bikes apart now, as he has an 07 almost identical with higher miles though.. Then I said, oh I know, mine is the clean one.. ;D ;D ;D  :-* :-*

Kim

That is a "PRETTY BIKE"

I feel like an unfaithful villain when I ride the "OTHER" bike  ::), so I just talk nicely to the S-40 when I return home and pet it a little before  I go in the house .  ;)

so far it must be forgiving me , cause it still cranks up for me for the shorter trips.  :)
