Title: Prechermike has a new home
Post by prechermike on 04/01/15 at 17:22:41

OK, it is official now. I have moved about 40 miles east to the lovely community of Ponzer in Hyde County, North Carolina. We spent the first night here Saturday and I started preaching at Mount Olive Church of Christ on Sunday. I brought my bike here yesterday, just can't get it all at one time.  :-/ Anyway, we are looking forward to another great adventure here and just waiting to see what God has in store for us.

Hey Versy, can you change my location on the member map? Please and thank you.  ;)

Very nice!!
You really should ride the bike to the church for your first service, and put the helmet on the pulpit.
Sermon: Enjoying the wonders that the Lord has provided... on two wheels.

Thanks for the good thoughts guys! We are happily trying to get settled in, there is a lot of stuff in boxes that has to go somewhere. The trash pile, maybe.

Rlph, move on down, I'd love to have you here.

and MM, you come on down for a visit here too, plenty of places to ride, lots of curves, though no mountains to fall off of. Some pretty big canals, if that counts.

And the rest of you are welcome too!

Mike,

About 65 years ago I can remember being in Mt. Olive North Carolina with my father. We were picking up a load of cucumbers to deliver to Heinz in Pittsburgh, PA..

I remember that it was hot.

Kenny this Mount Olive is not in that Mount Olive, it is in a little community called Ponzer.  I'm just a little over 2 hours to the east, but they do make some good pickles in the other Mount Olive.
