Title: Woke up the Baby
Post by MnSpring on 03/15/15 at 15:41:59

Woke up the Baby this afternoon from her Nap.

Put her to bed, about 6 months ago.
It got up to 70 here. (Yes Virginia, 70, in Minn.)
So off with the cover, check Air, couple lbs low, normal,
Oil, up to snuff. Gas tank full. All lights worked.
No mouse nests in critical areas.
Bat charged, (Put on a BT on once a month for 24 hours, then next day put it on another thing, etc, Used to take batteries out, just got lazy, don't do it anymore)

Turned petcock on. (Store Carb DRY)
Rua, Rua,   (wait a sec)  Rua Rua, (another sec)
Then,  Rua R.. Veoom.
Up and down the drive, then re check everything.
Then off to town.
Took it easy, lota sand on corners yet. No Rain to wash it off.
But just, ‘Had’, to go around a, ‘couple’, of blocks, on the way home.
(A Block here, ‘on Tar’, is about 12 miles)
Gotta Love the smell of WD-40 burning off inside the muffler.  ;)

So now, this means, it will SNOW, again, before the Grass turns Green.  :'(
Cheese & Rice, just gotta move South !

After a good rain, will wake up the Kawi VN800

Mine started right up today and I put a little over 100 miles on it. It was in the 60's. Finally. I kept be battery charged by riding a few times a month all winter even if it was just going to the post office. I couldn't have done that in MN with all the snow you get.

U-Haul, a compass, map. There is no reason to live where people Need 4 wheel drive... Snow IS pretty, someone can post pics and I'll appreciate from a distance.

I went for a ride yesterday....took longer than I expected as the Ohio River is flooding and a lot of my roads on the return trip are under water.  I had to go about 6 miles farther south before I found a road that would get me up out of the river valley.

Lot's of water crossing the road where the hillsides are still draining, and sand and gravel on the back roads - corners had to be taken really slowly.

Some more warm weather and traffic to clean the loose stuff out of the corners and the riding season will begin!  It is supposed to get up to 70 today...shame I couldn't just blow off the work day and play!

I was able to wake up the Honda ST on Saturday, and went for a 100 mile round trip to Rabbit Hash, KY.  The bike had brand new brake pads and tires that had to be tested!  The temperature got up to the mid 60's and the sunshine was a welcome sight.

The brake pads were horribly ineffective for the first few stops, even though I was intentionally taking it easy.  They got better with each additional stop - but even after 100 miles they are still breaking (braking) in!

It got cold again here in KY - but at least it is not snowing! :)

Snow is beautiful, but I wouldn't want to wade in it or be clearing it constantly. Glad I live where I can ride pretty much all year round.

This forum really appreciates photos....and videos! ;)

About the only thing I could photographs right now....is the flock of Turkey and the Sparrows eating the 100 pounds of grass seed I put in the yard on Sunday.

Here is a live cam... I am not sure if its recorded live or actual live LOL...but it is from a cam on a condo down here in Navarre florida.
I live between the spring break central spots..... so traffic is not too bad.

P.S. The cam does move around and refocus if you keep watching it. The cement dock thing is Navarre Pier, lotsa folks fish off of it for all kinds of stuff, from shark to rays to regular fish. ;D
