One step closer!!! Got the new and improved cam chain tensioner installed now I just have to wait for the Permatex to set and add oil and she's off. Note to anyone doing this.
When you reinstall the clutch cover make sure the clutch cable hanger is in the up position. I did not and there isn't enough room to swing it around. Had to pull the cover, clean up the RTV and reapply it then reinstall the cover. A couple of annoying steps that could have been avoided. All in all took about 20 minutes off then back on not including the 2 hour drive to Verslagen's house. Can't wait to fire it up and not have a clatter coming from the engine!

kinda late to tell you this but I've said it many times...
put the wrench on the arm and swing it up,
then you'll have room to swing it up.

It's a blessing that it happened when I pulled the cover I was able to see how well I applied the RTV and it was light in a few areas so the second time around I paid better attention to the application and made sure I got those areas well.

So excited to fire this thing up it's like waiting for Christmas morning now

Verslagen I got half way home and thought I should have offered to buy that pipe. As I'm standing here now I realize it would have been perfect!
