winter tired with your monotony and my mind began to Wake up crazy ideas... one of them was hidden wire management inside back horns. and the question in General, how might it look like? how it will be neater look like?
and ideally, skip the wiring harness inside risers ... anyone have pictures? show me please :)

I think Dave hid his handlebar wiring inside the bars...

No....mine come out of the controls on the bottom and go along the bottom of the bars just like a normal bike. You can't see them while you are riding - works for me!

If you have the stock handlebars, the welded in weights might be in the way and you won't be able to put the wires inside.

Many Harley handlebars are already drilled for inside wiring.

The connectors will be very hard to get through the handlebars.

so far my thoughts are:I have a back horn from Ural-wolf, I can extend the wires through the steering pipe. I have now another question has arisen: the weight of the sinkers in the horns?

I guess the only way to figure that out would be to weigh a stock set of bars, and a similar set of hollow bars.

Since the stock bars have rubber cushioned mounts at the top yoke - the purpose of the weights is to provide "mass" to resist the vibrations from transferring out of the rubber cushions. Make the bars lighter - and more vibrations will be felt. "IF" the factory was really high tech about it....I supposed they could have deliberately sized the weight to focus on a particular rpm range.

I don't know that it is a big deal - as my Cafe bars are mounted solid to the fork tubes and I really don't notice any uncomfortable vibrations.
