Title: New Muffler
Post by spearheadss on 02/12/15 at 17:32:45

I just replaced my Dyna muffler with a Screaming Eagle. Man I love the sound of the Screaming Eagle. I was worried about a drop in performance. If anything it seemed a little more responsive. Overall I am happy with the change.

Changed mine from SE to the Dyna... guess I'm to old for the noise.  ;D

I forgot to take a picture of the before. But, most of you know how it looks with the Dyna muffler.

Here it is. I picked it up for $20 on Ebay. It had a few rust spots but I am going to powder coat it anyway.

Here is a different shot of it. I need to get a smaller shield.

Here is the bracket I made for it since it did not bolt directly to it. You really can't see the bracket when you are looking at it standing up. You have to be sitting down by it or under it to see the bracket.

I dampened the vibration by using rubber spacers in between the bracket and the mount. I am happy with it.

You really should downsize your photos to 640x480 before you post them on a forum....those large photos aren't really useful on my computer.

Be glad too. How do you do that?

Somewhere on your camera is a setting for the photo size, or on your computer is a way to resize the photos....or you can load them up on Tinypic.com and use the resize button to make them 640x480 - or if you took the photos on your phone you can email them to yourself and use the "medium" size setting....or something like that.  I am more of a gearhead than a guy that can help you with computers.

I use www.tinypic.com for all the photos I post.

Here is your photo using tinypic and the 640x480 size.

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. They are resized and you can actually see them now. Off to do my other post.
