I have been watching quite a few Russian videos lately.....while my wife is watching "Masterpiece Theater" on our only TV.....I go to the computer and play around on YouTube. I watch the Russian traffic videos mostly as a way to identify what "not" to do.

Most of the issues come from riding twice the speed of traffic. The other drivers can't anticipate you are going to be going so fast - or they don't see you when you are behind other traffic and then suddenly appear from nowhere.

Go with the flow....and you are going to have a lot better chance of survival. Lane splitting??????.....None for me thanks.

Different Continent....same issues. Driving too fast for conditions, and a lot of problems using the front brakes properly.

There are a lot of Russian UTube crash videos but there are some pedestrian near misses on this one I haven't seen. :o

Wow.....There are certainly some pedestrians that will need a change of underwear after those near misses.

In two of the crashes (Volvo and Truck) the drivers come out the open windshield after/during the crash....No seatbelts for them!
