Title: Decompression relay Post by 95savage on 01/05/15 at 11:31:33 Hey guys! New to the forum. I think this is a great site. Here is my question. I have a 1995 Savage and I am building a cafe racer out of it. I am going to a manual decompression lever. I want to remove the decompression solenoid (actuator) and relay, but the bike wont start without the relay. Has anyone ever bypassed the relay. If so do you have a drawing or instructions on which wires you jumpered. Thanks Kevin

Title: Re: Decompression relay Post by Dave on 01/05/15 at 12:06:42 Yep.....a lot of us have removed the automatic decompressor and bypassed the relay.  You also may need to eliminate the side stand relay, and a few of us have even done the same with the clutch relay.
