I guess we can put in regular brake fluid like I would use in my car?

What position should the bike be in to get a proper reading of brake fluid level? Stand up straight like when checking the oil? Or leaned on the kickstand? Middle of the sight glass?

check your cap, pretty sure it says dot4

get a small can, it'll take half to change it all out.

do it once a year and you'll never have a problem.

$2 or 3 bucks a year for never a problem... I do it.

If you have multiple bikes, pick 1 a year and rotate the stock.

Don't let the master cylinder run out of fluid,priming it can be a big hassle.
