I had the good fortune to have a received a ham as a Christmas gift.  I took off a good portion for the neighborhood stray cat.

I have to dice it up for him because he doesn't have any teeth.   :-/

Poor kitty, I feed local strays, too, if it weren't for the pet deposit, I'd take some of them in

This is TC's old lady...you can't go wrong with a shelter pet- they just need a loving home to bring out their potential as all these shelter dogs have shown you on this video. Don't shop...ADOPT! That is all...

Funny video.  A lot of work went into making that.  I also feed a stray cat, today, in addition to his usual ration he got a nice big chunk of turkey.  Merry Christmas everyone.

+1, there are so many unwanted pets that did nothing wrong, their humans just didn't know what having a furkid really entailed, and by adopting you stand less chance of financially supporting those aweful puppy mills

I have 4 cats that I adopted while trying to find them homes.  I really think they remember being on their own and appreciate a good home.  I had a few others I found homes for as well.  After being well fed and spoiled for a couple weeks they don't want to leave.   ::)
