Title: Headlight
Post by Jamz on 12/17/14 at 14:45:50

Hey my headlight, horn, and front turn signals won't work. I tried the connector on the left side and that wasn't it. The wire connections seem fine. I used to be able to turn the handlebars to the far right and all of it would kick on. Now that's stopped working. Could the battery be the issue? I'm totally lost

Didja' check the fuse?

If turning the bar used to help....it is either a loose or corroded connector, or a broken wire in the harness that leads up to the handlebar electrical control.

You need to check the fuse, then go to the wiring diagrams in the Technical Section, and start tracing and testing wires.  An orange wire takes the power up to the handlebar control...so if you lost the horn, light and turn signals all at the same time...it is most likely the orange wire.

Wait a minute.....you didn't mention that the rear turn signals also have failed.  If the rear turn signals work when you move the switch.....they you have a ground problem up front.
