Title: Ryca Shocks Post by farmerpete on 11/16/14 at 12:24:48 I'm hoping to replace the stock shocks on my 2007 S40 over the winter. On Ebay I see various shocks available including some 13" Ryca shocks. I weigh 185 and am 6'0 tall, with a aging back. Are the Ryca shocks a good idea, I think they are approximately $166.00 on Ebay. I'm trying not to spend too much. Thanks. Pete |

Somewhere around 12" - 12.5" is about the most you want without the stock fender looking goofy. The Cafe' bikes are using 13.5" and that is about the longest you can go without get into belt/chain tension problems as the swing arm is at a pretty steep angle and vertical movement changes the belt/chain tension. |
