Post by stewmills on 11/12/14 at 19:53:43

the seat pan on the 3 wheeler i am cleaning up was slightly rusted in some spots. i cleaned out the rust, put a good coat of rustoleum on it, and pop roveted an old license plate to it for good measure. saved having to buy a new $50 seat pan
8-) 8-) 8-)

Ha.  Maybe one called Packratus or Junkyardeous. The older I get (and now that I have a little bit of property and a shed to store things) I don't want to throw anything away. Primarily because I am always tinkering with something and most often find myself reusing things I would have otherwise trashed.

The thread title appears as "good use for old lice..." on the main screen. I was very disappointed when I opened the thread to see it applied to license plates and not lice since I have a rather large box of them somewhere out in the garage. :-?

Good hunting

Nice, using the little gray cells instead of the big green paper

A-Yep.  Just like drinking Scotch. It is a finely tuned, finely crafted, ART  !
