Title: gas leaking Post by JohnD on 11/07/14 at 12:45:00 The belt on my '06' started squeaking a few months ago. Through much trial and error I discovered that every once in a while a drop of gas would land on the belt and that was the cause of the squeak. I felt around and it seemed to be coming from the petcock so I checked it out and replaced the O ring and washers for the screws. It still has that drop every once in a while but it doesn't seem to be coming from the petcock. Any ideas where to check now? :-?

Title: Re: gas leaking Post by Dave on 11/07/14 at 12:47:37 Well....maybe.  Some bikes develop a crack (and leak) where the rear tank mount is welded to the fuel tank.
