Title: Ryca bars meaty enough? Post by Jeff71 on 11/05/14 at 13:51:01 A quickie, Are the Ryca 1" bars meaty enough to turn down the ends to 7/8"? Found some mirrors I like. Just open thinking here. Thanks! Jeff |

Title: Re: Ryca bars meaty enough? Post by justin_o_guy2 on 11/05/14 at 18:48:33 I'd be shocked if they have more than an eighth inch wall. Machine away to 7/8ths? Bad idea. I'd never mess with bars like that. Machine in and create a stress area , cracks you can not even see can start, you'll open the steel up to the elements by cutting the chrome.. Even IF the walls would leave a 1/8th wall in the machined area, I would not.. |
