A quickie,
Are the Ryca 1" bars meaty enough to turn down the ends to 7/8"? Found some mirrors I like. Just open thinking here. Thanks!

Uh, im pretty sure all bars are hollow and cant be turned down at all.

I'd be shocked if they have more than an eighth inch wall. Machine away to 7/8ths? Bad idea. I'd never mess with bars like that. Machine in and create a stress area , cracks you can not even see can start, you'll open the steel up to the elements by cutting the chrome.. Even IF the walls would leave a 1/8th wall in the machined area, I would not..

Look at modifying the mirrors.. if they fail, you can ride away..
Or find some that fit.

Have an aluminum plug made and pin it to the bars.
