Title: ryca airfilter problem
Post by victorbsa on 10/25/14 at 10:59:00

It is very difficult to get the round airfilter off the RYCA cafe bike. Plus I also hear that the ryca filter is too restrictive. Does anyone else use a foam air sock? I also saw an off set rubber intake mount for the cafe kit. I cannot find the pic of the bike now, so I don't know where they got it.
i find that eveything on the ryca is a pian to remove. Fortunately you don't have to move much.

There's an elbow intake fitting for a few v twins that might work.
you'd need to check what carb it uses to see if it would mount to ours.

I think the one mentioned was a kawasaki

What exactly is your end goal? The stock throat can be made to work:

Here is the RYCA part that is used on their street tracker.....

I think a better solution would be to install a small lithium ion battery, then cut down the RYCA airbox and install a longer sock filter or cone filter.
