That's a mouthful isn't it? How do they justify that? There should be many such fields in the Old World. But more likely most have either become multipurpose fields or simply taken over by developers.

And once again this range has been targeted by a few elitists who've decided they need this property for their own use and deny archers a venue they've used for 80 years.

A Suggestion:

It seems like the, "City", owns that land.
Now, who, 'Owns", the City.
It is, ALL, the residents of the City.
Not a couple of Counsel members, or the developer.

Perhaps remind, the Counsel/Mayor,
that the, Citizens of the City,
pay, Their wage, not the other way around.

Or ask them if they covet, (in their Next Job),
being a, 'greeter', at a mart-mart store?

I remember a story of a town,wanna say Connecticut.. They used Imminent Domain to"buy" property,demolished homes,all under the guise of it being for the Greater Good,but what they were REALLY doing was they were gonna sell the land to a Corporation and They were Supposed to build a buncha stuff that would have been Taxed at a higher amount and Then the community would be better. Well,the law does not allow for that.. but it was done. No one went to jail as far as I know.
You folks better get busy figuring out who is behind this and why are they so interested in that land.
