I need to figure out what size the two stock muffler mounting bolts are. Need to buy the nuts from hardware store. Anyone got an idea of what size I need to get? I can't find an illistrated parts breakdown that gives the muffler mounting bolt nut size.

I would expect it to be a 8x1.25.

Could take a bolt to the store.
Could eyeball the bolt and buy a few nuts and see which one fits.

Appreciate it Dave. 8×1.25 was the correct size. Lowes had um and picked up black plastic end caps there as well for the handlebars. Two 1" end caps $2.00
