Title: Raptor 660 Petcock Post by humblegeo on 09/08/14 at 10:06:29 Will the cheap raptor 660 petcock do the job? They seem to sell for $7.00 to $15.00 new on ebay. Will they work or are they junk due to very low price for new. |

Title: Re: Raptor 660 Petcock Post by justin_o_guy2 on 09/08/14 at 11:47:41 Gee,I wonder if Bike Bandit has them? Why,I have heard Nothing but good things about them!Coffcoff,, Either walk in a genuine Yamaha shop and get one and avoid paying freight or buy from a trusted source. Bike Bandit has recently been shown to be less than dependable.I like to support the local businesses and keep my money in the community. I bought a part for the pick-up the other day. I could save$10.00 by buying the import part or spend$45.00 on the Borg Warner ,made in America, part. I bought the one that supports American jobs. |

Don't worry... if it came in a genuine Yamaha plastic bag,... it's fine... ... and I'm sure it did... Some folks have had service/shipping trouble with BikeBandit... But,... the product is as advertized... EBay, BikeBandit, or any supplier... as long as it comes in a Yamaha package.... The only issue I'm aware of... is some knock-offs have had a wrong size outlet tube,... and some.. a missing lever seal... You can make it work,... it's just not worth the couple bucks you save.... Buy the genuine Yamaha part... I'm not the type to pay extra for a name brand... but, sometimes it does make sense... Pay the extra $10 for the real deal... ;)...(you're still saving $30 over a stock pet)... |
