Title: Valve seals Post by Thomas Högberg on 08/25/14 at 04:09:53 Hi about to replace my valve seals, do you just pull the old ones off with pliers or what? And what about the new ones, how do you seat them? /Thomas |
Title: Re: Valve seals Post by Dave on 08/25/14 at 04:55:19 I believe I just used a screwdriver to push up the bottom of them to pop them off. I don't believe seating them was anything more than just pushing them on with my fingers. I really don't remember it being anything difficult. |

Title: Re: Valve seals Post by Seaweednh on 08/25/14 at 19:59:57 Is the head off or are you doing on the bike? On the bike you need to pressurize the cylinder to hold the valve shut. You can do this by modifying a spark plug or using the hose from a compression tester connected to an air compressor. Just oil the valve seals so they go on easier. |
