For those Bobber/Rat bike folks.....you might consider the Yamaha Virago headlight.

It looks like the mount could be adapted pretty easily, and eBay has a lot of them for sale. They are most likely much better quality than the cheap aftermarket ones, and they use an H-4 bulb....so you would have a good selection of "Retina Wrecker" bulbs to install.

I usually drill 1 hole in the bottom tree and use any aftermarket HD/chopper headlight.There are some retina burners out there.

I put in a yellow fog light from a 40s truck, find them at classic car show flea market for 10 bucks, heavy duty.

Is this safe? I would assume drilling a small hole probably won't affect any kind of structural integrity..but asking to check. Been looking for a nice vintage yellow light.
