Title: Redefining hot... Post by Serowbot on 08/16/14 at 15:46:58 Did a Mt. Lemmon ride today... Yeah, it's kinda' hot... 97' and humid... Storms were building up, but hadn't hit yet... Then,.. on the way down, at the base of the mountain, is a Thrift Shop... so I stopped in for a look... ...a like new vintage 70's Brooks heavy leather cafe' MC jacket for $15.00!... made in USA... I bought it... I got no saddlebags, so it seemed like the easiest way to get it home was to wear it.. 100'f and humid, full sun, in heavy black leather, in traffic... and a FF helmet... That's my new definition of hot... ...but, I do like the jacket... looks just like this, (fashion ho')... http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDY2/z/w3oAAOSw7PBTnea7/$_1.JPG?set_id=880000500F I just chugged 24oz of ice water... Brain Freeze!... ;D... |
Title: Re: Redefining hot... Post by DeepPurple on 08/16/14 at 16:33:19 WOW, I can only imagine the heat you felt wearing that lol. It's been hot like that here in Florida and I could only imagine how miserable it would be wearing that right now :o I give you tons of cred for doing that right now haha. Nice looking Jacket though. I'm about go get a denim vest myself so I have something not hot, but with pockets and stuff. Be nice to finally have a place for a pipe, matches, keys, mp3 player, and whatever else without having to always take my backpack :) |
Title: Re: Redefining hot... Post by DeepPurple on 08/16/14 at 16:35:19 Nice find too btw... and for $15! Every thrift store, flea market, and antique store I stop at to find cool jackets and such results in failure. Usually a bunch of way too big or way too small items... |

Just so you aren't disappointed... ;D... http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt82/serowbot/random-t-02_21_14-920-77_zpsf681bb79.jpg |

Glad you fixed that, because I was ultra-confused. |
Title: Re: Redefining hot... Post by justin_o_guy2 on 08/29/14 at 07:31:06 I, too, was pissadointed, thread content did NOT line up with the title, AND, while that doesnt exactly REdefine "Hot" it certainly is at least a dang good representation OF hotness,, |
