Title: Chinese Suzuki Post by pgambr on 08/15/14 at 19:56:08 I was talking to a guy at the dealership on the phone today.  I don't know how much merit their is to this, perhaps you have heard something similar.  About 2 years ago Suzuki in Japan went bankrupt, everyone probably heard about that.  This fella said Suzuki America is in the process of buying or already bought the motorcycle division of what was left of the company.  He said their plan is to move all the manufacturing to China.  He said this should be done in about 1.5 years.  If you thought the quality control had issues now, give it another year or two.  I suppose I thought they went bankrupt / reorganized and everything was going to stay in Japan.   :-?
